Østnorsk Filmsenter (Eastern Norwegian Filmcenter, ENF) is a regional funding agency supported by the Ministry of Culture and Equality (Kultur- og likestillingsdepartementet, KUD) and the Norwegian Film Institute (Norsk Filminstitutt), and a member of the FilmReg-organization that covers all the regional centers and funds. ENF is owned by the Regional County of Innlandet (Innlandet Fylkeskommune), Gausdal Kommune, Lillehammer Kommune and Øyer Kommune.
Eastern Norwegian Filmcenter is granted 10 million NOK a year in project funds which we distribute to audiovisual projects and creators, as well as industry- and youth initiatives / efforts / events, in addition to receiving operating funds.
The main tasks of the film center is to fund audiovisual and entertainment productions, such as short- and documentary films, games and early development of feature films. We are situated alongside the regional film fund, Filminvest, who we collaborate closely with, as well as working with the Eastern Norway Film Commission.
ENFs second tasks consists of working on facilitating for and developing the regional professional film and games industry, as well as supporting youth and new talents. ENF collaborates with festivals like Amandusfestivalen, Movies on War and R.E.D. International Film Festival. ENF is located close to and has a close connection with the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (Høgskolen i Innlandet) which consists of the national Film-, TV- and Game school. ENF also collaborates with other film centers and funds, and the national film- and games industry.
The Inland region has an impressive base for competence building, innovation and industry development, and ENF already has a broad network nationally and internationally.
