At Trollfilm Studio in Dovre, we're building something rare: a state-of-the-art multiplane animation facility designed for feature film production—and we're inviting fellow animators and studios to join us.
 
Our new digitally controlled multiplane stand combines the handcrafted authenticity of traditional glass plate animation with modern precision technology. The result is a tool that delivers exceptional visual depth while providing animators with an ergonomic, efficient workflow built for the long production cycles that feature films demand.
 
Why Dovre?
Nestled in the Norwegian mountains, Killi Studio offers more than equipment. It's a place to focus, create, and collaborate—away from the distractions of city life, surrounded by the landscapes that have inspired Nordic storytelling for centuries. Our studio opened in 2023 and is home to Trollfilm, an award-winning animation company with decades of experience in handcrafted animation.
