Black Box has been officially selected for the Main Competition at Imaginaria — International Festival of Authorial Animated Films in Conversano, Italy.
Imaginaria is an Oscar-qualifying festival and one of Europe's most respected platforms for auteur animation. To have Black Box included in this year's competition programme means a great deal to us.
The timing feels right. Next week, we travel to Annecy for the world premiere of Black Box in the Official Short Films Competition — Anton Dyakov, Anita Killi, and Claus Gladyszak will all be there. From Annecy to Conversano: it is shaping up to be a meaningful summer. We are deeply grateful that others believe in this film — and that their belief has been confirmed by selections at two of Europe's most respected animation festivals.

Black Box is a quiet film. Monochrome, non-verbal, nine minutes long. It asks its audience to slow down — to sit with an image, to bring their own experience to it. We are grateful that festival audiences are getting the chance to do exactly that.
