Mario Grigolon grew up in the province of Cuneo, then moved to Turin to study drawing and storytelling at Scuola Internazionale di Comics.

Always passionate about animation, after a workshop with Frank Espinosa he decided to pursue his interest in animation and enrolled at the animation department of  Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Turin, where in the third year he worked on the short film Conchiglia, and consolidated his passion for storyboards and narration through images.

In his free time he reads comics and makes fanzines with his friends. He keeps himself inspired by going on walks in the mountains and visiting museums.
